The Junior ETC Crew is a foundational development program for athletes aged 11–16, designed to build strong fundamentals in a positive and motivating environment.
We focus on long-term development, quality movement, and consistent improvement. Athletes are supported in a positive, structured environment where effort, patience, and learning are valued over short-term results. By doing the basics well and showing up consistently, athletes build the habits, confidence, and foundations needed for future progression.
Training sessions are capped at 10 athletes to maintain high coaching standards. Smaller group sizes allow for detailed technical feedback, better supervision, and a more focused training environment, supporting safer movement, stronger skill development, and long-term athlete progression.
📍 Venue: WA Athletics Stadium
⏰ When: Tuesdays, 4:30pm – 5:30pm, across the school terms (excluding the first week back)
What to Bring:
Athletic training clothing suitable for running and movement
Running spikes or trainers (depending on the session and athlete experience)
Water bottle
Any required personal medication (e.g. inhaler)
Commitment, consistency, and an understanding that progress takes time
Weather Policy: Training may be modified in hot or wet conditions to ensure athlete safety. Parents will be notified of any significant changes or cancellations in advance where possible.
