ETC is committed to providing a safe, professional, and supportive training environment for all athletes.
This policy outlines how personal information is managed and the terms under which athletes participate in ETC training programs and activities.
1. Privacy Policy (Applies to All Participants)
ETC collects personal information for the purpose of delivering coaching and training services. This may include:
• Names and contact details
• Emergency contact information
• Relevant medical information
• Booking and payment details
Personal information is used solely to:
• Manage training bookings and attendance
• Communicate important program updates
• Respond appropriately in medical or emergency situations
• Meet administrative, insurance, and legal obligations
ETC takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access.
Information is not sold or shared with third parties except where required for operational, medical, insurance, or legal reasons.

2. Junior Athletes (Under 18) – Parent / Guardian Consent
This section applies to all athletes under the age of 18.
By enrolling a junior athlete in ETC training, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges and agrees to the following:
Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in athletic training involves physical activity and carries inherent risks. I accept these risks on behalf of my child and acknowledge that injury may occur despite appropriate coaching and supervision.
Medical Responsibility
I confirm that my child is physically able to participate in training. I agree to inform ETC of any medical conditions, injuries, or relevant health concerns that may affect participation.
Emergency Consent
In the event of illness or injury, I authorise ETC coaches or representatives to seek appropriate medical assistance if I cannot be contacted.
Supervision & Behaviour
I understand that athletes are expected to follow coaching instructions, train respectfully, and contribute to a safe and focused environment.
Failure to meet behavioural expectations may result in a review of participation.
Photo / Media Consent
I acknowledge that photos or videos may be taken during training sessions for coaching, promotional, or educational purposes. I consent to the use of this material unless I notify ETC in writing otherwise.
3. Senior Athletes (18+)
Senior athletes participate in ETC training voluntarily and at their own discretion.
By participating, senior athletes:
• Accept the inherent risks associated with physical training
• Confirm they are medically fit to train or have sought appropriate medical advice
• Accept responsibility for managing their own health and injury disclosure
4. Elite ETC Squad Placement
Elite ETC is a selective performance squad offered by invitation.
Placement is extended to athletes who meet the required training standards, demonstrate consistent commitment, and align with the existing Elite group environment.
Continued participation is based on maintaining those standards.
5. Schools & Sporting Clubs
For school and club bookings, the organisation confirms that:
• Participants attend with appropriate consent and knowledge
• Medical information and duty of care outside the session are managed by the organisation
• ETC provides coaching services only and does not assume responsibility beyond the scope of the booked session
