Supporting Your Young Persons Development
DEVELOPING CONFIDENT ATHLETES, ON AND OFF THE TRACK
Junior Crew (Ages 11–16)
The Junior ETC Crew is a foundational development program for athletes aged 11–16, designed to build strong movement fundamentals within a positive, structured, and motivating training environment.
The program focuses on developing correct technique, movement quality, coordination, and confidence through age-appropriate and purposeful coaching. Sessions are designed to establish efficient mechanics early, helping reduce injury risk while laying the foundations for long-term athletic development and performance.
Athletes are supported to understand how to move well, apply skills consistently, and develop strong training habits that prepare them for progression into higher-level squads and competitive pathways. With a strong emphasis on learning, effort, and a positive training culture, the Junior ETC Crew helps athletes grow into confident, capable, and well-rounded performers.
Training runs weekly on Tuesdays during the school term (excluding the first week back), with sessions capped at 10 athletes to ensure high coaching standards, individual attention, and detailed technical feedback in a supportive environment.
Private Coaching Sessions
(Ages 11–16)
Private coaching sessions provide individualised, one-on-one support for athletes who benefit from a more focused training environment. These sessions are designed to address specific technical needs, build confidence, and support steady progress at a pace appropriate to the athlete.
Private sessions allow coaches to:
-
Focus closely on movement quality and technique
-
Address individual strengths, weaknesses, or injury considerations
-
Reinforce correct habits without distraction
-
Support athletes who may need extra guidance, reassurance, or confidence
-
Sessions are structured, purposeful, and age-appropriate, with a strong emphasis on safe progression and long-term development, rather than short-term outcomes.
Private coaching can be particularly beneficial for athletes who are:
-
New to structured training
-
Returning from injury or managing physical limitations
-
Preparing for competition or performance milestones
-
Seeking additional technical refinement alongside group training
Parents can be confident that private sessions are delivered in a supportive, professional environment, aligned with ETC’s broader training philosophy of patience, consistency, and sustainable development.
